Waiting Staff

The role

Some people walk into a room and it relaxes. Others walk in and it gets a little more interesting. We want someone who can do both, at the table.

Swindlers is a cafe, lounge and bar for people who like their cocktails polished and their evenings with a hint of mischief. As part of our waiting staff, you'll run table service on our busiest evenings and on our food-led event nights. What you'll do

• Deliver attentive, polished table service from first welcome to final bill
• Take food and drink orders accurately and keep tables looked after through the night
• Manage guests with confidence, including busy sections and the occasional tricky moment
• Work smoothly with bar and kitchen colleagues so orders land when they should
• Bring calm and pace to food-led event nights
• Keep your section clean, set and ready for whoever walks in next

What you'll bring

• Experience in table service and managing customers
• Excellent customer service, with warmth, sharpness and good judgement
• Increasing Sales at every oppotunity, never leaving a customer without a drink
• The ability to stay composed and organised when the room is full
• A good eye for detail and a sense of when to step in and when to step back
• Applicants must be 18+ as the role involves serving alcohol
• The right to work in the UK
